Partner
Amy E. Millard specializes in white collar criminal defense and securities regulatory matters. She has over twenty years experience representing individuals and corporations in both federal and state investigations and prosecutions. She has represented clients in matters such as tax evasion, securities fraud, health care fraud, money laundering, bank fraud, criminal anti-trust, immigration fraud, payola, and foreign corrupt practices. She has also conducted corporate internal investigations on behalf of both private and not for profit entities.
A graduate of Barnard College and New York University School of Law where she served on the Law Review, Amy clerked for the Honorable Whitman Knapp, United States District Judge, Southern District of New York. She later served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York where she prosecuted a wide variety of white collar cases. She has been a partner at Clayman & Rosenberg since 1997.
Amy has been an instructor at Harvard Law School's Trial Advocacy Workshop since 1999. In addition she has lectured widely on federal criminal practice and securities matters for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and she is a long time faculty member of the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Cardozo Law School.
Amy is a member of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, where she served on the Board of Directors, and is a member of the Association of the Bar of City of New York, where she served on the Judiciary Committee and the Criminal Advocacy Committee.
