Brian D. Linder has over 20 years experience representing individuals and corporations in a wide variety of complex civil and criminal matters. His civil practice includes the representation of corporations in the investigation and prosecution of civil RICO and fraud claims and individuals in a myriad of commercial disputes. His criminal practice includes the representation of individuals at all stages of criminal investigations and prosecutions in New York State and federal courts throughout the country, in matters such as criminal tax fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, bank fraud, immigration fraud, and racketeering prosecutions. He has also conducted corporate internal investigations and advised individuals involved in them.

A graduate of Cornell University and the George Washington University Law School, Brian was a staff attorney at the Criminal Appeals Bureau of The Legal Aid Society prior to joining Clayman & Rosenberg in 1985. He has been a partner at the firm since 1992.

Brian has lectured on federal and state criminal practice in CLE courses for the New York State Bar Association. He is also a long time faculty member of the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Cardozo Law School.

Brian is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, where he serves on the Personal Income Tax Committee and is a past member of the Criminal Advocacy Committee.

Brian is admitted to practice in New York, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, and the United Staes District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
