Tom Rotko practices in the areas of criminal defense, regulatory investigations, and complex civil litigation. He has successfully represented individuals and entities in a wide range of cases in federal and state courts. His recent cases have involved allegations of securities fraud, healthcare fraud, money laundering, violations of OFAC and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, improper mutual fund trading practices, environmental crimes, and embezzlement.
Prior to joining the firm, Tom was an Assistant District Attorney in the New York County District Attorney's Office. Assigned to the Official Corruption Unit and the Trial Division, he investigated and prosecuted numerous cases involving cases of police and government corruption, including bribe receiving, extortion, official misconduct, perjury, and insurance fraud.
Tom graduated from Union College, and received a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he served as the Chairman of the Moot Court Board and as a Senior Editor of the Comparative Labor Law Journal.
Tom is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York where he served on the Criminal Courts Committee.
